Welcome to Rådhuskällaren!
Steeped in fine old traditions, Rådhuskällaren is an excellent choice for both large celebrations and small parties. In Knutkällaren, which dates from 1546, you can dine well in the cosy old stone vault. For smaller groups, the Library is the place, with room for 25 guests. If you’re looking for something more spacious, you can reserve the whole restaurant. Rådhuskällaren has wireless internet in the conference department, the library and most parts of the restaurant. Classic dinners at Rådhuskällaren include the goose dinner in November and our traditional Christmas table.
In the same building are three fantastic rooms: Knutssalen, Landstingssalen and Bernadottesalen. Knutssalen gets its name from Saint Knut ’s guild, dating from medieval times, who have held their meetings here over the centuries. The room is used as a banqueting hall for official receptions and celebrations. Landstingssalen is decorated in renaissance style. Most of the paintings in the portrait gallery are of Danish kings and queens. Bernadottesalen, decorated in red and silver, gets its name from the portraits on the walls, which depict Swedish kings of the Bernadotte family.
